WAVE Workshops on Activism and Visuality in Europe is a joint project by the Fresh Eye Platform for Visual Culture Studies and critic and activist Nicholas Mirzoeff. Participants from Central and Eastern Europe, selected in an open call, will be able to discuss and creatively share experience with inspiring personalities from the fields of theory, criticism, visual arts, political activism, design and education, whose work deeply touches upon current social issues: systemic racism, suppression of knowledge and memory of minority groups, migration, and growth of populism and nationalism.
Video recordings of the complete program will be available to the public for free.
